This menu is from a sailing of the S. S. Victoria on a special excursion leaving St. Michaels, Alaska, July 12th, 1913 for Seattle. This excursion was made under the auspices of the Alaska Bureau and the Seattle Chamber of Commerce. The cover of the menu features a photograph of the S. S. Victoria. The daily menu insert is for Monday, July 28th and is printed in gold ink. A flag with an "A" inside a circle (which is part of the Alaska Steamship Company's logo) is printed at the top as well as the name of the commander of the ship, John A. O'Brien.
