The week-long festival included concerts, parades, aircraft and boat demonstrations. Seattle’s annual Seafair celebrations each July continue the Potlatch tradition. This parade float represents early settlers in the Northwest region. A couple dressed in costume stand in front of a replica of a tree stump house. Men in white hooded robes accompany the float and one man holds a pole with a sign reading "Old Pioneers Home 4". The photographer identification is based on the resemblance of the numbering system and handwriting to attributed photos in the collection.
