Summary:This shows the sled entrance to the South Pole station. This is the other way you can get in. This is the way supplies are brought in from the aircraft. They put them on sleds and then use a Track Master, a track vehicle, to pull them down into the storage areas, by the station itself. So this is the simplest way to get in if you don’t want to go down those stairs in the front. And this is the way we went in and out most of the time. It was a lot easier than climbing the stairs.
