Hunt, Photographer, Ketchikan, Alaska PH Coll 334.Hunt.1 Coppermount was a village on the southwest coast of Prince of Wales Island, at the head of Copper Harbor, east of Hetta Inlet. The Coppermount post office was established here in 1900 and transferred to Sulzer in 1907. This former mining setttlement is shown as abandoned on current sources. [Source: Donald Orth.
