There are 13 species identified belonging to three types: 4 protozoa, 3 rotifers, 6 crustaceans (2 cladocerans, 4 copepods). The most common specie during the study was Achanthocyclops Vernal presents in most samples reaching a density of 54 org/ml. Among cladocerans was found like a frequent specie the Daphnia (47 org/ml). Among the rotifer specie with highest densities was Polyarthra (54 org/ml). In the protozoa, the most frequent specie and highest densities was Strobilidium (93 org/ml). The greatest abundance of zooplankton is recorded at beginning to the study in November 2014. This water body is listed as mesotrophic, with temperatures between 27.0 - 23.0 °C, with a transparency of between 1.60m - 5.55m. The lake system has good water quality, with good production of fish and crustaceans, for that reason the villages near practice the fishing that represents a good source of income.
