This report presents results from the 23d field season of the project "Investigations of the Peregrine Falcon in South Greenland". Following analyses of data form the first 22 years, the primary objectives of the study has now shifted towards monitoring of a fixed sample of nesting sites where reproduction, timing of breeding and monitoring of loads and effects of contaminants are carried out annually. Twelve sites have been selected, and in 2005 they produced 2.8 young/successful site and 1.8 young per occupied territory. Whole addled eggs (2) were collected in two nests, and fragments from hatched eggs collected in 5 nests. Among 7 nests, the first egg hatched between 27 June and 11 July (mean 4th July). Sightings of previously ringed breeding females (see previous reports) have led to a revision of the average annual turnover estimates (1985-2005): max 28% (27% if corrected for expected movement of females out of the study area).
