Description
Summary:The results of studying the post-fire transformation of vegetation in the conditions of the ice complex are given in article. The feature of the Lena-Amga interfluve of Central Yakutia is the extreme climatic conditions and the massive distribution of permafrost. On the territories of the distribution of the ice complex after fires there is the complete transformation of forest conditions and vegetation. Post-fire successions occur according to the scheme of fast regeneration with the replacement of elements of pioneer meadow and meadow-steppe communities by meadow-forest and typical forest vegetation. Post-fire changes are stabilized during the succession time. In general, reforestation is quite successful.
