Description
Summary:The A330-700L, also known as the Beluga XL because of its curious shape, is a cargo aircraft that was vital to the exponential growth of the aerospace industry. This aircraft was responsible for supplying parts to assembly plants at a time when booming demand threatened to outstrip Airbus’ manufacturing capacity. The construction of this aircraft made it possible to make a great leap in performance and load capacities compared to its predecessor. This makes it a very interesting challenge to investigate the structure of an aircraft with a very distinctive shape and which can fly with previously unthinkable loads. In this project, information will be sought on the structure of the Beluga XL in order to make a design using software that is as faithful as possible and then translate this design into a 1:50 scale model.
