This tourism is based on the geographic values of this extreme territory and on one of the most fragile natural environments of the country. These foci of interest are mostly located within the Magallanes Region located within the National System of Protected Wild Areas belonging to 58.9% of the total area of the region, with Torres del Paine National Park receiving the largest number of visitors doubling their income over the last decade over an area of 181.229 ha.
