The exhibition, Archeological Survey: Inner West Sydney Sector, exhibited in Articulate Gallery, Sydney as an outcome of the gallery's artist in residence program, is a futuristic analysis of today’s social and cultural conventions in the context of feminist analysis of the history and cultural norms associated with marriage as a misogynist contract. The exhibition alludes to continued extravagant celebrations of the wedding ceremony in terms of its commercialisation & consequent financial burden, not to say debt for the married couple. The installation comprises of shapes of a pattern for a bridal gown hung as if on a clothesline across the gallery space. The dress pattern shapes are covered in a collage of litter found on the streets of Sydney, presaging the life of the bride/couple after marriage.
