GAY LIFE This was told to us by our office boy who is just at the age between an office boy and an office man. His father was giving him the usual man-to -fnan lecture, "There are many vices in this world, and it's very healthy to avoid all of them. Take your grandpa, for instance, He worked very hard all his life and did nothing which would endanger his health. He never drank, smoked or chewed. He's never uttered a bad word and he has never told a lie. Your grandmother is the only girl he ever looked at. He's never been in a bar or a restaurant. And tomorrow he's going , to celebrate his Slst birthdayl" "How?" asked ' the youth. ONE CYLINDER A Scot entered a harness ehop and asked for a single spur, "What good is one spur?" asked the clerk. CONTROL OF WILD OATS Wild oats is one of the worst weeds on the iprairies and cannot be killed by 5, or i any other such chemical.
