Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner for family and close friends was held at -•■e Magrath United Church Hall when the Magrath U.C.W. served a turkey dinner with Mr. = ' 1 Mrs, Whitt as hosts. Master of Ceremonies was Mr. Nick Kapis of Calgary whose small ighter Iinda offered grace. The toarrt to the bride was proposed by Mr. Ken Miller with :-l ? groom responding. . . Saturday avening Mr. and Mrs. George Dudas were hosts at a wedding dance held in German Canadian Club. The bride and groom welcomed the guests who gathered to enjoy ■Jaucing to the music of "The 4 Diamonds", The happy couple are making their home in Lethbridge where they are both employed. A former Magrath native, Vera B. Head, passed away in Lethbridge Friday, June 30th at the age of $7 years. # , | Born in Magrath, the daughter of the late «Ima and Annie Miller, she received her education in Magrath, attended Normal. School in Calgary and taught school in Bradshaw and Magrath. In 1932 she married John Head and they resided in- Magrath and she taught school rntil 1935 when they moved to Saskatchewan where he managed Citizens Lumber Co.offices, residing there until 1951 when they moved to Wrentham. In 1957 her husband retired and ■■'"'ey made their home in Lethbridge where she continued teaching at Gilbert Paterson, re­tiring two years ago. \ She leaves to mourn her passing her husband John, a daughter Mrs. Rinky (Marilyn) V-^ser of Lethbridge,- three sisters Miss Thelma Miller of Lethbridge, Mrs. Kay (Dorothy) P-nnett of Magrath and Mrs. Sidney (Loretta) Orr of Orton; four brothers Martin Miller of Dvo, Deraid Mi 11sr of Raymond, Clifford Miller of Magrath and Leron Miller of Louisville ’Vntucky. She was predeceased by three sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held in the Lethbridge Stake L,D.S. Saturday avening Mr. and Mrs. George Dudas were hosts at a wedding dance held in German Canadian Club. The bride and groom welcomed the guests who gathered to enjoy ■Jaucing to the music of "The 4 Diamonds", The happy couple are making their home in Lethbridge where they are both employed. A former Magrath native, Vera B. Head, passed away in Lethbridge Friday, June 30th at the age of $7 years. # , | Born in Magrath, the daughter of the late «Ima and Annie Miller, she received her education in Magrath, attended Normal. School in Calgary and taught school in Bradshaw and Magrath. In 1932 she married John Head and they resided in- Magrath and she taught school rntil 1935 when they moved to Saskatchewan where he managed Citizens Lumber Co.offices, residing there until 1951 when they moved to Wrentham. In 1957 her husband retired and ■■'"'ey made their home in Lethbridge where she continued teaching at Gilbert Paterson, re­tiring two years ago. \ She leaves to mourn her passing her husband John, a daughter Mrs. Rinky (Marilyn) V-^ser of Lethbridge,- three sisters Miss Thelma Miller of Lethbridge, Mrs. Kay (Dorothy) P-nnett of Magrath and Mrs. Sidney (Loretta) Orr of Orton; four brothers Martin Miller of Dvo, Deraid Mi 11sr of Raymond, Clifford Miller of Magrath and Leron Miller of Louisville ’Vntucky. She was predeceased by three sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held in the Lethbridge Stake L,D.S.
