Mr. and Mrs. Byng Beazer and family left recently to make their home in Cardston where he is Principal of Seminaries in the Cardc-ton area. A GOOD PLACE TO ThADE An early resident of Magrath, Mrs. Elizabeth (Beth) Iacquement passed away in Cardston Sunday, September 7th at the age of 80 years. Bom in Willard, Utah, she came to Magrath with her parents Mr. and MrSo George Naylor at an early age. In 1913 she married Edward ^acquement and she had spent most of her life - time in Jfegrath, Predeceased by her husband in 1963, survivors include Mrs. Luella Harris, Mrs. Alberta McClain, Mr. U.oyd Meldrum, Mrs. Lillian Sabey all of Magrath, Mrs0 Thelma Turner of Ray­mond and Mrs. Evelyn Munro of Salt lake City, Utah. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Lacquement were held this Wednesday afternoon in the Magrath L.D.S. Chapel with Bishop R, M„ Dahl officiating. Interment took place in the Magrath Cemetery. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Christensen was beautifully decorated with arrange­ments of flowers for the trouseau tea held in honor of their daughter Joan Sunday after-­noon and -evening. Guests were greeted by the bride-to-be and invited to sign the guest register presid­ed over by Mrs. Joanne Locknitz. Mrs. Effie Bennett was hostess for the occasion and refreshments were served by Miss Janice Neilson assisted by Mesdames Geneva Neilson, Marilyn Neilson, Shirley Neilson and Pearldean Jensen. Mrs. Esther Toomer and Mrs0 Gladys Sheer received the guests in the Trouseau Rooms where the bride's lovely trouseau was on display.
