The Association has a fully organized board of . directors with a working body of about 30 adults. It was formed under the supervision of the Magrath Recreation Board. Over the past four months it has done a tremendous amount of research into the feasability and usefulness of recreation area. Due to recent survey, dent that an ority of the rath feel a strong need for such a facility. Most of these people are very willing to contribute its construction. Therefore, it is our intent an association to find a way t satisfy what so many of you have expressed as a need. In relation to the rest of Alberta, our research so far supports the feasability and multiple use's of such a facility in a community of this size. We are rapidly approaching the point of being able to solicit funds in an attempt to obtain matching grant money from the Provincial government . Stake at services conducted Sunday, October 9th with Elder Fyans of Salt Lake City, Utah-, presiding. . Dennis is the son of Alvin and the late Augusta Bullock of Welling. He is married to the former Carol Smith of Champion and they have 8 children, two daughters presently attending the B.Y .U. Dennis attended Elementary school in Welling and high school in Magrath. When the Lethbridge Stake was divided 9 years ago, the Bullock brothers, Dennis and Gerald, were installed as First Counsellors. Gerald was late-released due to heart surgery and then three years ago he was sustained as Stake President. Douglas Alston, another Magrathite, was sustained as Counsellor to President Bullock.
