A tragic two-car collision on Highway of the Lethbridge Airport, claimed of Betty Jane Mikado, 19 year old of Bob and Sue Mikado Wednesday December 26th, 1979. Betty Jane was born Feburary 28, 1969 in Magrath and attended Magrath Elementary and High Schools where she was an honor student, graduating in June, 1978. At the time of her passing she was attending Lethbridge Community College where she was taking a business and secretarial course. She was active in sports, especially tennis, winning a gold medal in the 1979 Summer Games. She loved to golf and swim and enjoyed skiing. Betty assisted at the Magrath Library7 during the summer and busy times. She leaves to mourn her passingof loving parents, Bob and Sue and couS-Judy; her grandmother, Mrs. T.
