Flower girl was Kersten Gurney, niece of the bride0 The groom was attended by Ken Adams, Kent Leishman, Doug Wright and Gordon Saunders with Kevin Gurney, nephew of the bride, as ring bearer. Following the ceremony a wedding dinner took place in the Raymond Second Ward Church with Mrs, Darwin Price and Mrs. Angelina Witbeck, grandmother of the groom, as hostesses® During the dinner Mr. Bob West proposed the bridal toast with the groom suitably responding. Saturday evening the Magrath Elementary School Gymnasium was beautifully decorated for a Calling Reception when friends and relatives gathered to extend best wishes® Welcoming the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Arlidge Hill of Raymond, uncle and aunt of the groom, Mr. Bert Boyson. uncle of the bride and Mrs® Darlene Munro of Edmonton® The guest register was attended by Miss Janet Fletcher® Parents of the bride and groom to­gether with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Price of Taber, Mrs® Angelina Witbeck and Mrs. Matilda Wilde of Raymond assisted the bride and groom and their attendants in receiving. Miss Marilyn Gurney arranged the gift tables assisted by Miss Marty Boyson and Miss Leslee Gurney. Host and Hostess for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Don Gurney, brother and sister­in- law of the bride. A lovely lunch was served by the Misses Sylvia Hovey, Mariann Alston, Joanne Passey, Bonnie Harker, Valerie Hansen, Cindy Rice, Carolyn Ririe, Darci & Debbie Fletcher, Patricia and Norma Wilde, Virginia Bennett, Susan Harker and Teran Garside with Mrs. Lisa Thomson supervising. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wockniiz and Mr. and Mrs® Jon Ackroyd presided at the Punch table and kitchen arrangements were in charge of Mrs. Avilda Coleman assisted by Mesdames Dorothy Bennett, Joyce Thomson, Ruth Wilde, Marjorie Coleman, Alice Stevenson and Meline Wilde, The wedding cake wqs beautifully decorated by Mrs® Bertha Bennett and Mrs. Viola Miller supervised the decorating of the gymnasium® A program was presented with Mr, Arlidge Hill as Master of Ceremonies.
