BASKETBALL NEWS Wednesday, December 11th two basketball games took place in the Big Gym. Ifegrath Eagles played Winston Churchill Mastiffs, defeating them 48-20. Top scorers for the Eagles were Donald Hamilton with 11 points and Bruce Ririe with 8. In a second encounter the Magrath Zen­iths and the Winston Churchill Bulldogs tangled with the Zeniths winning by a score of 57-55, Top scorers were Roy Ro] l.ingson with 15 points and Rod Leishman with 12» We are proud to say the Zeniths are having a very successful year having won every game in the league, making them top team and we feel they deserve an honorable mention for their efforts. BASKETBALL NEWS Wednesday, December 11th two basketball games took place in the Big Gym. Ifegrath Eagles played Winston Churchill Mastiffs, defeating them 48-20. Top scorers for the Eagles were Donald Hamilton with 11 points and Bruce Ririe with 8. In a second encounter the Magrath Zen­iths and the Winston Churchill Bulldogs tangled with the Zeniths winning by a score of 57-55, Top scorers were Roy Ro] l.ingson with 15 points and Rod Leishman with 12» We are proud to say the Zeniths are having a very successful year having won every game in the league, making them top team and we feel they deserve an honorable mention for their efforts.
