Warmly lined. POLICE REPORT As noted in last week's report, we will be indicating the results of charges laid for offences committed in and around Magrath. We will note all Criminal Code charges and any other major offences under other statutes. Names will not be included at the request of this paper. It has become necessary to do this, as we are continually approached by citizens, and being asked what resulted from' charges. PRICED AT Ä***AÄ*A**A****** It will be of interest to many Magrath residents that Derek Harker flew home from Virginia to spend time with his oarents Bill & LaVeda Harker of Calgary, prior to their taking up residence in British Columbia. He Hostesses for the chicken will be Mrs. Lyda Poulsen crimes, the results will be reported. During the past week three males appeared in court on a charge of Break & Enter, and take auto without owner's consent. As well, two of them were charged for an additional break in and the third person for possession of stolen property. They entered guilty pleas and were placed on probation to the end of the year. Also, one male appeared in court on charges of causing a distrubance and common assault. Guilty pleas were entered and the judge sus-ended sentence for eighteen months and placed him on probation. I must clarify last week's reported case. Two male persons were initially charged for three beak ins and two possessions of stolen property. They entered guilty pleas to one break in and the two possession charges, and the other two break in charges were withdrawn. For the offences guilty pleas were entered on, they received a total of one year imprisonment each. The Town of Magrath has enacted a new by-law, as of the 28th of September, 1982. It is By-law No. 936 and has been enacted to control noise within the Town of Magrath. Next week I will point out the pertinent sections within the by-law, so that the citizens are aware of it, and will know the results if found in violation of it. Cpl. John Ferguson . Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 20th in St. Paul's United Church, Milk River with Rev. D. Crombie officiating. Roast or broil duck on a metal rack and prick the skin all over with a fork to allow the fat to drain away. As the fat collects in the pan it can be drained. Do not add water or fat, do not cover. GLAZED DUCK WITH FRUIT STUFFING 2 - 2.5 kg duck 125 ml water Fruit stuffing 25 ml red currant jelly 1 orange 25 ml lemon juice Stuff & truss duck. Place breast side down on rack in shallow roasting pan. Prick skin well. Raost 45 min at 180 C Turn breast side up, prick skin, pour off fat as it accumulates. Roast 1-i hr. more. Shred orange rind and cook in water 10 min. Remove pith from orange and chop pulp. Combine rind and liquid from rind with pulp and remaining mgre - ients. Remove duck and rack from roaster. Drain off fat. Pour glaze into roaster and cook on top of stove stirring constantly until well blended. Return duck to pan and baste with glaze.
