He was 81 years of age* Born in Vernal'Utah, he came to the Magrath district in 1902 where he worked with his father farming, later working for the Becker Lumber Co, and Citizens Lumber Co, before moving to Stirling where he operated a general 6tore, later moving back to Magrath and then Raymond, ' ’ Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nephi (Harriette) Harker and Mrs, Stanley (l^,y- sie) Toomer both of Magrath, two brothers, Thomas of Magrath and Hollis of California, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1964 and one son Rulon in 1962$ - i. . Mr. and Mrs, K, K, Balderson have as their guests Mr. and Mrsf. Ted Wolff of Pointe Pierre, Trinadad, Mr, Wolff and Mr. Balderson were engineering associates in Trinadad. It is the first visit to the American contenant for Mr. and Mrs* Wolff who will be joined later by their two daugh­ters and will spend two months visiting in Canada and in England, Mr$ and Mrs. Norris Jackson and family who have been visiting relatives in Hi 11- spring and Magrath for the past few weeks spent Thursday at the home of her parents lie, and Mrs. Clyne Harker before leaving Saturday for their home in Rexburg^ Idaho, Mr, George Harker received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at Spring Convocation and vri.ll work as a field representative for the Civil Service Assoc­iation of Alberta making his home in Edmon­ton. He stopped over the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyne Harker enroute to Edmonton to join his wife and family. ' Miss Amy Gloria Yamamoto, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Mitch Yamamoto has been award­ed the Burroughs Wellcome Bursary in Pharm­acy at the University of Alberta for the year 1965-66. Miss Yamamoto is a first year student at the U. Of A. and last year was awarded $1100 in scholarships, the recipient of a $500 Holtenen’s Scholarship and the Queen Elizabeth $500 scholarship as well as re­ceiving a $100 award from the University of Alberta for obtaining an 85^ average in Grade 12. He was 81 years of age* Born in Vernal'Utah, he came to the Magrath district in 1902 where he worked with his father farming, later working for the Becker Lumber Co, and Citizens Lumber Co, before moving to Stirling where he operated a general 6tore, later moving back to Magrath and then Raymond, ' ’ Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nephi (Harriette) Harker and Mrs, Stanley (l^,y- sie) Toomer both of Magrath, two brothers, Thomas of Magrath and Hollis of California, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1964 and one son Rulon in 1962$ - i. . Mr. and Mrs, K, K, Balderson have as their guests Mr. and Mrsf. Ted Wolff of Pointe Pierre, Trinadad, Mr, Wolff and Mr. Balderson were engineering associates in Trinadad. It is the first visit to the American contenant for Mr. and Mrs* Wolff who will be joined later by their two daugh­ters and will spend two months visiting in Canada and in England, Mr$ and Mrs. Norris Jackson and family who have been visiting relatives in Hi 11- spring and Magrath for the past few weeks spent Thursday at the home of her parents lie, and Mrs. Clyne Harker before leaving Saturday for their home in Rexburg^ Idaho, Mr, George Harker received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at Spring Convocation and vri.ll work as a field representative for the Civil Service Assoc­iation of Alberta making his home in Edmon­ton. He stopped over the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyne Harker enroute to Edmonton to join his wife and family. ' Miss Amy Gloria Yamamoto, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Mitch Yamamoto has been award­ed the Burroughs Wellcome Bursary in Pharm­acy at the University of Alberta for the year 1965-66. Miss Yamamoto is a first year student at the U. Of A. and last year was awarded $1100 in scholarships, the recipient of a $500 Holtenen’s Scholarship and the Queen Elizabeth $500 scholarship as well as re­ceiving a $100 award from the University of Alberta for obtaining an 85^ average in Grade 12.
