Once we discussed our ideas with school principals in the regions we wanted to focus on, we realised that there may be an issue: in many of these regions there are few children who are not do not have some type of Aboriginal background and therefore, trying to do a comparison became a difficult task. However, we embarked on the journey and learned more about how Aboriginal children think about themselves through drawing than we could have imagined.
