| Summary: | August 6, 1931. Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. In background; range of mts. forming western side of Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher] at L.A.B.'s Divide. They also from western side of Left Valley. See photos 27-1-13; 27-1-14 & 27-1-12, which shows these mountains at the S.S.E end of Left Valley. Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher] here is seen coming from S.W. and turning N.N.E at base of L.A.B.'s Scoop Mt. [Mountain] In foreground; edge of Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher] along south side under Scoop Mt. [Mountain] where it has gouged out the land, carrying with it quantities of large rocks, stones of all sizes and piling up dirt in jagged masses. Between the moraine and the steep descending side of the mountains (with Scoop Mt. [Mountain] towering above) a stream is seen coming from the glacier and it flows to Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord.
