[Mountain] and the range to which is belongs form the eastern side of Unknown Valley (direction north and south or N.E. and S.W.) and show here as the mountains turn N.N.E. and become the south side of Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. At the base of the mountains is Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher], filling the entire width of Unknown Valley, as it comes from the S.S.W. and here --at what can be called The Divide (See photos 26-H-18; 26-H-15; 26-H-20 & 27-1-18) passes N.E.E. around the base of Scoop Mt. [Mountain] and in a steep decline goes into Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. (See photos 27-1-21 and 27-1-22). Where the glacier and the southern terminal of the eastern range of Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord meet, the waters off the glacier go down along the side of the glacier to Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord; they also make a stream which descends through Left Valley and, passing out the Main Valley, goes into Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. See photos 27-1-13; 27-1-14 & 24-F-13. The entire Left Valley and stream descending it are shown. In foreground pool, on north side of Right Valley near eastern terminal. This pool was on a steep hillside above the stream and, from my higher elevation, gave the impression of having been attached to or built on the mountain. Below it is stream of Right Valley near its mouth. Photo taken from high land just west of Cairn D, which I erected of stones on the southern terminal of range of mountains forming the west side of Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord.
