The team sets out in June from Burwash Landing on Kluane Lake. The film starts with pack horses traveling through Donjek River and valley. Seaplanes are shown at Burwash Landing and airport. Team members survey the mountainous terrain and seaplanes air drop supplies to men on a mountainside. Dall sheep graze the mountainside. The remaining film shows aerial views of Mount Wood, Mount Walsh, Wolf Creek Glacier, and other mountain ranges. The method used to survey the land area was photographic mapping by high oblique aerial photographs used to build up topographic maps. This method was first used on the Grenfell-Forbes Expedition to Labrador in 1931. The Forbes Expedition to Labrador aerial photography can also be found online through the AGSL Digital Collections.
