Summary: | The importance of cultural communications in preserving the culture of the indigenous peoples of the North of Yakutia (Evenks, Evens, Dolgans, Yukagirs, Chukchi) is considered. Traditional national holidays are a way of transmitting cultural and historical heritage. In the Arctic regions of the republic, national holidays are held locally, in the places where they are held. The holidays that are held in the village of Iengre, the village of Khatystyr and the city of Yakutsk have a regional and interregional status.
