| Summary: | Today competences formation in the field of techniques and technologies of shelf and marine reservoirs development and exploitation is a significant objective for Russian petroleum industry. The existing approaches to this problem solution are presented in the paper. This analysis showed that the efforts of several universities are not enough to solve the challenge of the modern moment. The project of the Academy of oil and gas engineering is described; the main target is the formation of professional competence in shelf and marine fields development. The key objectives and approaches of their solution are presented. Сегодня формирование компетенций в области техники и технологий разработки и эксплуатации шельфовых и морских коллекторов является важной задачей для российской нефтяной промышленности. В статье представлены существующие подходы к решению этой проблемы. Этот анализ показал, что усилий нескольких университетов недостаточно для решения проблемы современности. Описан проект Академии нефтегазового инжиниринга, основной целью которого является формирование профессиональных компетенций в области разработки шельфовых и морских месторождений. Представлены ключевые задачи и подходы к их решению.
