One of the key factors affecting the competitiveness of the economy of the region, is the labor and contribution to its development. Currently, there are many different indexes, components and computation the human potential of the company / region / country. The main essence of which is contained in the set of terms and definitions of human development is a continuous process of opportunities to reach a certain level and wealth. Adequate indicator that measures the implementation of the goals of human and development, can be considered integral the human development index. Adequate indicator that measures the implementation of the goals of human and development, accept integral index human development. The index is calculated for the Krasnoyarsk Krai, the results of the calculations to showed weak institutional element. The position region calculated toward regions the Siberian Federal District. Calculation of the index of human development led to the conclusion that there unoccupied and unused potential in the economy of the region. The date is calculated to achieving the perfect value IHD and the forecast of the development of weak element in the period up to 2014. Одним из ключевых факторов, влияющих на конкурентоспособность экономики региона, является труд и вклад в его развитие. В настоящее время существует множество показателей и индексов, составляющих и рассчитывающих человеческий потенциал предприятия / региона / страны. Основная суть, которая заключена во множестве терминов и определений развития человеческого потенциала, представляет собой постоянный процесс увеличения возможностей для достижения определенного уровня и повышения благосостояния. Адекватным показателем, измеряющим осуществление целей человека и его развитие, можно считать интегральный индекс развития человеческого потенциала. Индекс рассчитан для Красноярского края, по результатам расчетов выявлено слабое институциональное звено. Произведен расчет, занимаемой позиции региона, по отношению к регионам, которые входят в Сибирский федеральный округ. Расчёт индекса человеческого потенциала позволил сделать вывод о наличии незанятого и неиспользованного потенциала в развитии экономики региона. Получен год достижения идеального значения ИРЧП Красноярского края и сделан прогноз развития слабого звена на период до 2014 года.
