As sexual offence is being latent we only have limited amount of statistical data. I believe that this subject is always relevant, because the relationship between the police authority and the society plays an important rule regarding police reports, which is an eternal problem, question. Does the reassurance policing exist in Hungary? Had more people turned to the authorities because of the 2017 #metoo campaign? My empirical survey gives answers to the question mentioned above. On the other hand, it plays an important role in my thesis, because the answers give to my questions by the victims and authorities confirm the used resources and reassure, support my suggestions. In my thesis I touch upon the causes that lead to these delicts remain hidden. Apart from this I am searching for the solution to create ‘victim friendly’ procedures, for example making video and sound recordings during interrogations, involving experts and consultants. Following these I think the solution for secondary victimisation could be? based on the Barnahaus model in Iceland. In my further suggestions I will mention the Istanbul Pact, because I think if this law passes it will give the perfect basis to build a complex victim protection system. After this further regulations are needed, such as more frequent presence of consultants. The only remaining question is: Do we have all the personal, material, financial requirements to execute my suggestions? We will get an answer to this question in my thesis.
