První část bakalářské práce tvoří překlad tří článků z němčiny do češtiny. Články vyšly v rám- ci speciálního vydání časopisu GEO na téma Island. Jedná se o reportáže s prvky populárně- naučných textů. Ve druhé části práce pak následuje komentář překladu, který se skládá z analýzy výchozího textu, představení koncepce překladu a konkrétních řešení jednotlivých jevů. The first part of the Bachelor's thesis contains a translation of three articles from German into Czech. The articles were published in an Iceland-themed special edition of the GEO maga- zine. They are reportages with elements of popular science texts. In the second part, a translation commentary follows which consists of a translation analysis of the original text, an introduction of the translation concept and individual solutions of particular features.
