They are a well behaved and not bad looking people, ready to part with anything they have, but very superstitiously concerned about their flocks. Their faces bronzed and weather-beaten by exposure to frost and sunshine watching their precious flocks against wolves. They had fed over all the tundra we saw. Their tracks about as large and blunt as those of cows.
