They have, however, exerted a comparatively feeble influence on the general physiognomy. Aug 5. Stiff breeze from the S.E. We reached Wankarem at 5:45 and came to anchor near the village. The cape is granite, low and overswept, showing no marked compliance to the cleavage which is well seen on the wave-weathered extremity. A number of moutoneed ridges from 40 to 500 ft. h?
