The divides or passes [in divide] correspond on Each Side Boulders are not found on old [divids] because roll off. A few large one are found as they are not so easily rolled when the rock beneath them is melted See Mt Wat 42 In all philosophic inquiries upon any one subject there is a constant [ ] towards generalization all gls one ice [sheet] & [over] [sketch] Yo Sem that formed [thus] like creation of broken gl [parraller] to [plane] of face Hoff Gl abutted upon left end Flakes over lapping 6 in to 4 ft thick (from Mono tr) (From Shoulder [If] Hoff No Dana State?)
