I suppose your cherry harvest is over & the trees here have only come into bloom. another cold winter has passed. & we have had a windy hard spring. it seems as if March winds keep on blowing still, though warmer some fo the time. John is still in Kan. expects to come home a while in about two weeks or when he gets all his crop in & will leave things in Harry's care a while.A man by the name of Sherril who has been in Alaska. gave a lecture about that country. here in Crete. last week and among other things poke of the Muir Glacier. I should like to have heard him. but cannot go out , in the evenings. My miserable old troubles try to assert themselves stronger than normal lately, but hope to feel better soon.Poor Joanna has again passed through trial and Breavement. she was pretty well when I last heard from her & had plenty of good help. did you know that Walter had gone to England on business ? but perhaps he is back by this time. I wish our family didnt all live so scatered so we could see each otheroftener some of us are getting old & cannot be so very long in this world. wonder how it will be in the next world. I hope we will all live close together there.I hope Louie & Wanda & Helen and Sister Annie * Doctor and Mrs Strenzel are well. how is your Book progressing?Kind regards to the [stricken word] [McGee?] familyLove to all as ever affectionately Maggie
