U uvodnome dijelu opisana je kratko povijest razvoja tehnologije lijepljenja, potom su kratko opisani pojedini postupci nerastavljivih spojeva zajedno s njihovim prednostima i nedostacima. Detaljno je razrađena tehnologija lijepljenja u kojemu je sadržana definicija i pravilno izvođenje načina lijepljenja. Sadržana je temeljna klasifikacija ljepila, izbor ljepila, vrste ljepila te utjecajni faktori na sami izbor ljepila. U radu se nalaze mehanizam očvršćivanja, način pravilnog oblikovanja lijepljenih spojeva, usporedbe lijepljenih spojeva s ostalim postupcima spajanja te su sadržani troškovi lijepljenih spojeva. Na kraju teorijskoga dijela nalazi se detaljni opisi utjecajnih faktora na čvrstoću lijepljenog spoja te priprema površine za provođenje postupka lijepljenja. Eksperimentalni dio rada proveden je s ciljem pokazivanja utjecaja stanja površine na čvrstoću lijepljenog spoja. U završnome dijelu donesen je zaključak na temelju dobivenih rezultata o utjecaju pripremljene površine na odabranim materijalima. In the introduction can be found a short description about the history of development of the adhesive technology, after that comes a write up about some procedures of permanent joints and their advantages and disadvantages. Adhesive technology is detailed written and contains the definition and the correct method of adhesive bonding. Basic classification of adhesives, choice of adhesive, types of adhesives and the influencing factors on the choice of adhesive are also included. In the work can also be found the curing mechanism, ways of the correct shaping of adhesively bonded joints, comparison of adhesively bonded joints with other ways of bonding procedures and there are also the expenses of adhesively bonded joints. At the end of the theoretical part are the more detailed descriptions about the influencing factors on the strength of the adhesive bonded joints and the surface preparation for the gluing procedure.
