El proyecto de un Centro de Convenciones, propuesto para dar una imagen de gran impacto para la ciudad de Chimbote, teniendo como una ubicación estratégica para la nueva infraestructura moderna, tecnológica y de confort. El Centro de Convenciones para la ciudad de Chimbote cuya ubicación es importante por los servicios múltiples que ofrecerá a la ciudad y la conformación de la manzana existente dotados de servicios públicos, financieros, administrativos y educativos. Teniendo como antecedente esta manzana fue destinada para un Centro Cívico, teniendo frentes importantes, como la plaza Grau, la isla blanca que en la actualidad son atractivos turísticos y además se encuentra entre dos avenidas importantes paralelas que son eje de desarrollo de esta ciudad y elementos urbanos existentes, para reforzar el proyecto del Centro de Convenciones. que se dotara de servicios como: Zona de convenciones, Zona Comercial y Zona de oficinas empresariales, de tal manera que este tendrá actividades constantes para el público en general que beneficiará a la ciudad de Chimbote y ciudades vecinas.
