El cristiano «alter Christus, ipse Christus» en el pensamiento del Beato Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer

After an introduction on the question to be studied, the artide contains two main parts. The first part the possible theological antecedents of the doctrine «alter Christus, ipse Christus». More specifically, it cites the principal New Testament sources regarding the following, imitation, and configuration with Christ, and traces the development of the theology of the Christian's anointment as a new Christ, of the sacramental character, and of priesthood, within whose context the formula «alter Christus» appears. The second pan analyzes the passages in which Blessed ]osemaría Escrivá uses the expression «alter Christus, ipse Christus», and the context in which such passages appear. The condusion resumes the meaning of this expression for Blessed Josemaría, and its significance for his teaching. I. PLANTEAMIENTO DE LA CUESTION.- II. BASES PARA UNA REFLEXION TEOLOGICA.
