National audience The terms derived from the èvi-/ikè- roots mean: to sing, to shamanize, to decorate with bright colors, to play like a child, to play an instrument, to play on a stage, a collective ritual place, to ornate with motives and colors, to joke, to enjoy oneself, a child toy, a spirit representation. It is certified since the 1920s and still observed today on the field that the Evenks say “to have a good living we have to play well”. This article proposes a transversal analysis of the different forms of “play” from yesterday and now, under the perspective of “To say, is to do” of J. L. Austin. Les termes dérivés des racines èvi-/ikè- signifient : chanter, chamaniser, décorer de couleurs vives, jouer comme un enfant, jouer d'un instrument, jouer sur une scène, lieu de rituel collectif, rituel, décorer de motifs et de couleurs, plaisanter, se réjouir, jouet d'enfant, représentation d'esprit. Il est attesté depuis les années 1920 et encore noté aujourd'hui sur le terrain que les Évenks disent « pour bien vivre nous devons bien jouer ». Cet article propose une analyse transversale des différentes formes de « jeu » d'hier et d'aujourd'hui, sous l'angle du principe « Dire, c'est faire » de J.L. Austin.
