Ungulates dominates the fauna with: Cervus elaphus, Rangifer tarandus (the most abundant taxon after the horse), Capra cf. ibex, Bovinae, Equus caballus cf. piveteaui (the most abundant) and a very big Ungulate which can be a Rhinocerotidae or an Elephantidae. From palaeoenvironnemental point of view, this fauna points out the existence of an opened landscape in cold or even Arctic context (presence of bone and dental gelifracts) and from chronological point of view a moment of the isotopic stage 6. La faune récoltée dans la couche J1 de Sainte-Anne 1 comporte 6365 restes mais compte tenu de l'importante fragmentation nous n'avons pu déterminer taxinomiquement que 266 pièces. Les Carvivores sont rares et comprennent : Meles meles, Canis lupus ssp. (de taille modeste) et Vulpes vulpes. Les Ongulés dominent largement la faune : Cervus elaphus, Rangifer tarandus (le deuxième taxon le plus abondant), Capra cf. ibex, des Bovinae, Equus caballus cf. piveteaui (le plus abondant) et un très grand Ongulé qui peut être un Rhinocerotidae ou un Elephantidae. Du point de vue paléoenvironnemental, cette faune indique l'existence d'un milieu ouvert en contexte froid ou même arctique (présence de restes osseux et dentaires gélifractés) et du point de vue chronologique un moment du stade isotopique 6.
