Exploitation du Harfang au Magdalénien final : l'exemple du Bois-Ragot (Gouex, Vienne).

This paper contributes to the knowledge of human interest in Snowy owl during the Late Glacial. The zooarchaeological study of level 5, attributed to the final magdalenian, of Bois–Ragot indicates that this bird was exploited for meat and raw material (bone and probably feathers). Comparison with other magdalenian sites of Southeastern France shows that differences exist in the exploitation modes of Snowy owl. It remains however difficult today to interpret these differences in cultural terms. Cet article est une contribution à la connaissance des relations qui ont existés entre l'Homme et la Chouette harfang à la fin du Tardiglaciaire. L'étude archéozoologique des ossements provenant de la couche 5, magdalénien final, du Bois-Ragot révèle que cet oiseau a été utilisé en tant que ressource alimentaire et matière première (os et probablement les plumes). Une comparaison avec d'autres sites magdaléniens du sud–ouest de la France met en évidence une variabilité dans les modes d'exploitation du Harfang. Celle–ci reste difficilement interprétable en l'état des connaissances.
