International audience The CSIC library at the Instituto de Ciencias Marinas de Andalucía has technological resources and research support. The Library was created in 1957. The first books incorporated to the holdings were basically French. They are in connection with the Institute’s expeditions along the African littoral in the late fifties. The collection is built around the early sixties role of the Institute as the Spanish representative at World Scientific Meeting on the Biology of Tunas, and Related Species (FAO, ICES), the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) , and the International Commission for the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries (ICNAF). La biblioteca del CSIC en el Instituto de Ciencias Marinas de Andalucía dispone de recursos tecnológicos y de apoyo a la investigación. La biblioteca se creó, en 1957: • Los primeros libros incorporados al fondo fueron franceses • Están en relación con las expediciones del Instituto a lo largo del litoral africano en los años cincuenta • La colección está construida en razón del papel del Instituto, durante los años sesenta, como representante español en World Scientific Meeting on the Biology of Tunas, and Related Species (FAO, ICES), International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT), International Commission for the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries (ICNAF). La bibliothèque du CSIC à l’Institut des sciences marines d’Andalousie dispose de ressources technologiques et de soutien à la recherche. La Bibliothèque a été crée en 1957: • Les meilleurs premiers livres sont en français • Ils concernent les expéditions au long du littoral africain • Le depôt des publications est le résultat du rôle de l’Institut (au début des années soixante) en tant que représentant espagnol au World Scientific Meeting on the Biology of Tunas, and Related Species (FAO, ICES), la Commission Internationale pour la Conservation des Thonides de l'Atlantique (ICCAT-CICTA), et l'Organisation des pêches de l'Atlantique nord-ouest (ICNAF-OPANO).
