description Antika je v zgodovini čas, kjer se rodijo pravljice, začnejo se vzporednice z današnjim načinom življenja. Od tod izvira ogromno materialnih ostankov, ki nas popeljejo v čas Grkov in Rimljanov. Menim, da je ravno pri tej temi učitelju omogočena uporaba prav vseh sodobnih metod, ki učenca vključijo v pouk, da ga sooblikuje oziroma soustvarja. Učenci morajo namreč sami priti do spoznanj in ugotovitev, saj je tako znanje resnično pridobljeno. Med sodobnimi metodami so zelo pomembne tudi medpredmetne povezave, s katerimi učenca še bolj pritegnemo k usvajanju učne snovi. Pri pregledu osnovnošolskih učbenikov sem ugotovila, da je tema antika slikovito obarvana, učencem je na voljo slikovno in materialno gradivo. Slednje je velikokrat kar v bližini njihovega doma. Namen diplomskega dela je tako predstavitev sodobnega pouka zgodovine v primerjavi s preteklostjo kot predstavitev sodobnih učnih enot, ki so predstavljene na praktičnih primerih urnih učnih enot. In the history of time, the antiquity is that special period where fairy tales are born and the parallels with today's lifestyle commence. This is the period with the enormous quantity of material remains which easily take us to the time of the Greeks and Romans. It is my belief that this is precisely the topic where teachers are given ample freedom in selecting all contemporary teaching methods to entangle students in the learning process which they may co-devise or co-create. Students need to arrive independently to their own findings and conclusions, since only such knowledge is really instilled into their minds and remains there. Modern teaching methods place great emphasis on cross-curricular correlations which incite students to further engage in the acquisition of learning materials. In the review of primary school textbooks I found that the theme of antiquity has been presented in a picturesque way, and students are offered a diverse range of both visual and physical material at their disposition, the latter often being as close as in the vicinity of their own homes. The aim of the graduation thesis is to present the contemporary teaching of the subject of History compared to past times, as well as to introduce modern teaching units presented in form of practical examples at class teaching units.
