Mnenje osnovnih šol o uspešnosti projekta "Policist Leon svetuje" : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija Varnost in policijsko delo

Diplomska naloga se vsebinsko navezuje na projekt »Policist Leon svetuje«. Projekt smo izvedli v osnovnih šolah in je pomemben del vzgoje in izobraževanja v učnem procesu učenca 5. razreda. Diplomska naloga je razdeljena na teoretičen in raziskovalni del. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili projekt »Policist Leon svetuje« in se dotaknili tem, ki so s samim projektom povezane. Dotaknili smo se policijske preventive, kaj preventiva sploh je, kaj pomeni. Opisali smo tudi vodjo policijskega okoliša, ki skrbi za preventivo v posameznih krajih, njegovo delo ter naloge, ki jih opravlja. Vključili smo tudi pomembnost staršev pri vključevanju v preventivo in s tem v vzgojo otrok, kako pomembno vlogo imajo starši pri vzgoji. Obravnavali smo, kako starši odklanjajo svojo vlogo in odgovornost in problematiko prezaposlenosti staršev. V današnjih časih starši vse bolj zaradi svoje prezaposlenosti otroke prepuščajo v vzgojo starim staršem, televiziji, izobraževalnim inštitucijam, ker sami zaradi službenih ali kakršnihkoli obveznosti ne utegnejo vzgajati oziroma se posvečati svojemu otroku. Takšni otroci se posledično kažejo kot vzgojno zahtevni, težko vodljivi, počutijo se ogrožene. Resen problem je, da je vedno več takšnih otrok. Zelo pomembna je tudi povezava med šolo učitelji, učenci in starši. Zato smo vključili tudi sodelovanje med njimi kako pomembno je in kakšni so rezultati, če so otroci šola učitelji in starši med seboj povezani. Prednost in korist za vsakega od naštetih je, če je sodelovanje uspešno. Vendar se jih vse premalo tega zaveda. Nekateri starši mislijo, če otroka pošljejo v šolo, je potem to problem šole, kako ga bo vzgajala oziroma, da je to naloga šole. Vsako temo smo posebej obdelali: prednosti (koristi) medsebojnega sodelovanja za otroke, prednosti (koristi) medsebojnega sodelovanja za starše, za učitelje in šolo. Predstavili smo tudi organ Ministrstva za notranje zadeve, Policijo, njeno vodstvo, sedež, kdo sestavlja policijsko organizacijo. Kaj so naloge policije, ki izhajajo iz Zakona o nalogah in pooblastilih policije, kaj delajo policisti in njihovo uniformo. Kot pripomoček pri izvajanju projekta »Policist Leon svetuje« služi delovni zvezek, ki je namenjen otrokom. Policist Leon popelje otroke skozi poučne zgodbice in nasvete za njihov varen vsakdan. V zvezku so obravnavane vsebine, ki jih vodje policijskih okolišev predstavijo otrokom primerno letnemu času. V raziskovalnem delu pa smo predstavili mnenje osnovnih šol o uspešnosti projekta »Policist Leon svetuje«. V raziskavo smo vključili tri osnovne šole: Oš II Murska Sobota, Oš Orehek Kranj in Oš Belokranjskega odreda Semič, sodelovalo je 125 otrok. Raziskavo smo izvedli z anketnimi vprašalniki, ki smo jih poslali na izbrane osnovne šole. Treba je poudariti, da smo imeli težave z zbiranjem izpolnjenih anketnih vprašalnikov, saj šole niso bile pripravljene na sodelovanje. Kljub težavam, smo uspeli pridobiti vzorec, ki smo ga proučili in analizirali. Ugotovili smo, da osnovne šole vključene v projekt menijo, da je projekt koristen in uspešen. Iz anketnih vprašalnikov smo ugotovili, da so učenci seznanjeni z vsebino delovnega zvezka, povezano s projektom, ter da so policisti voljni pri predstavljanju projekta in se trudijo, da učence ozavestijo o preventivi varnosti na splošno. Predlagamo, da projekt »Policist Leon svetuje« izvajajo še v prihodnosti, saj gre za koristen del izobraževanja učencev, ki jim koristi pri njihovem razvoju in občutku varnosti v okolju, kjer se gibljejo. Obenem se učenci naučijo odreagirati v situacijah, ki jih niso vajeni in so lahko ključnega pomena v situacijah, kjer je izpostavljena njihova varnost. The diploma is substantially related to the project ''Officer Leon advises''. The project was carried out in elementary schools and presents an important part of educational and learning process for students of the fifth class. The diploma is divided into two parts, the theoretical and the research one. In the theoretical part we have presented the project ''Officer Leon advises'' and slightly mentioned the themes that are associated with the project. We referred to the police prevention, what prevention is, what it means. We described the chief of the police district, who takes charge of prevention in the individual places and his work and tasks he performs. We included the importance of parential involvement in prevention and in education of children as well as how a significant part the parential role in children's education plays. We discussed in what way a lot of parents their role and responsibility opposed and the issues related to parents overstrain. Nowadays parents increasingly leave their children's education to grandparents, television, educational institutions. Due to work and other obligations parents may not be able to educate or pay attention to their children. Consequently such children are educationally complex, they are guided with difficulty, they may feel threatened. There is a growing number of such children which means a serious problem. The link among school, teachers, students and parents is of great importance as well. For this reason we have also included cooperation among them, how important the results are if children, school, teachers and parents are interconnected. There are benefits and advantages for each of them if the cooperation is successful. However , too few are aware of this. Some parents believe if their child is sent to school, this becomes the problem of the relevant school, how the school will be educating him (her) or that this becomes the school duty. Each topic was specifically processed, advantages of mutual cooperation for children, benefits of mutual cooperation for parents, teachers and the school. We have also presented the Authority of the Ministry of the Interior, the Police its leadership, its headquarters, who the police organisation consist of, what the functions of the police, arising from the Law on the tasks and authorizations of the police, are, what the police officers do and their uniforms. As an aid in the implementation of the project ''Officer Leon advises'' serves a workbook intended for children. Officer Leon takes children through educational stories and gives advice for their safe everyday. The booklet deals with the content presented to children by heads of police districts in accordance with the season of the year. In the research work we presented the opinion of primary schools on the officiency of the project ''Officer Leon advises''. Three schools, OŠ II Murska Sobota, OŠ Orehek Kranj and OŠ Belokranjskega odreda Semič, were included in the research and 125 children took part in the project. The research was carried out with the help of questionnaires that were sent to selected primary schools. It is necessary to make the point that we were having difficulties collecting completed questionnaires, for the schools were not prepared to cooperate. Despite the difficulties we managed to gain a sample which was closely examined and analysed. We found out that primary schools, included in the project, share the opinion that the project is useful and successful. From the questionnaires it was ascertained that students were familiar with the workbook content coincided with the project, that the police officers were willing to present it and that they had endeavoured to raise awareness of security prevention generally. We suggest that the project ''Officer Leon advises'' is implemented in future, for it is about a useful part of students`education which works in favour of their development and security sense in an environment where moving.
