V svojem diplomskem delu sem predstavila širok pojem prireditve, samo organizacijo prireditve in morebitna vprašanja, ki se pojavljajo pri sami izvedbi. V teoretičnem delu sem opisala pojem prireditve, vrste prireditev, pojme, povezane z organizacijo (vodja, reditelj, rediteljska služba, udeleženec in prireditveni prostor), dolžnosti želene lastnosti organizacije, projektni management (organizacijski projekt, projektni manager), faze projektnega managementa (načrtovanje, organiziranje, vodenje, kontrola). V praktičnem delu, ki sem mu namenila največ pozornosti, sem posamezne dogodke, ki so sestavni del same prireditve, podrobno proučila. Najprej sem predstavila kratko zgodovino Žičke kartuzije in njen pomen, opisala sem potek prireditve, opredelila vrsto prireditev, ciljno občinstvo, prireditveni prostor, prometno ureditev, sponzoriranje, oglaševanje, zavarovanje, finančni vidik in morebitna tveganja. Na koncu pa sem svoja spoznanja nadgradila še s svojimi predlogi za izboljšanje izvedbe prireditev. Naletela sem na številne ovire, saj se lahko finančni vidik bistveno razlikuje, kar je odvisno od organizacije (varnost, šotori, postavljanje cen, konkurenca). Ugotovila sem, da mora imeti organizacija dobro razvite sposobnosti in veščine pogajanja in prilagajanja. In my thesis I presented broad concept of events, the organization and eventual issues arising from the implementation itself. In teoretical part, I described the concept of performances, types of events, concepts related to the organization ( Head of events, monitor, security services, participant and event area), duties of the desired characteristics of the organization, project manager, phases of project management (planning, organizing, managing, control). In practical work that I devoted the most attention, I thoroughly examined all the individual events which are an integral part of the performance itself. First of all I presented a brief history of Charterhouse Žiče and its meaning, I described the process of the event, identified the type of event, target audience, venue, transport arrangements, sponsorship, advertising, insurance, financial aspects and potential risks. In the end I upgraded all the knowledge I had received with my suggestions how to improve the performance of events. I ran into many obsticles, because the financial aspect may vary significantly depending on the organization (security, tents, pricing, competition). I found out that organization must have well-developed abilities and skills of negotiation and adjustment
