Razvijanje modela tutorstva

Teoretična izhodišča. Študenti velikokrat ne morejo sami premagati izzivov, ki jih prinaša študij zdravstvene nege. Težave študentov se odražajo tudi v nizki prehodnosti v višji letnik. Izkušnje iz tujine so pokazale uporabnost različnih tutorskih sistemov kot modelov za zmanjšanje težav študentov in zvišanje prehodnosti med letniki. Na Visoki šoli za zdravstveno nego Jesenice smo oblikovali model tutorstva, za katerega nas zanima, ali je ustrezen za tiste, ki jim je namenjen. Na podlagi rezultatov raziskave bi kasneje razvili model, ki bi študentom nudil pomoč pri osebnem in kariernem razvoju. Metode. V mesecu juniju 2010 je bila s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika na priložnostnem vzorcu 164 študentov Visoke šole za zdravstveno nego Jesenice izvedena kvantitativna raziskava. Trditve, povezane s tutorstvom, so bile predstavljene na podlagi povprečne vrednosti in standardnega odklona (PV±SO). S pomočjo hi-kvadrat testa se je pokazalo, da se potrebe po tutorstvu statistično pomembno razlikujejo glede na vrsto študija, predhodno izobrazbo in letnik študija. Statistična analiza je bila izdelana s programom SPSS 15.0. Rezultati. Študenti so vse oblike tutorstva, predvsem pa predmetno tutorstvo ocenili kot pomoč pri premagovanju težav, vendar sami ne želijo postati tutorji. Individualno obliko tutorstva so potrebovali zaradi težav v zvezi z učenjem in klinično prakso. Dokazali smo statistično pomembno razliko v potrebi po tutorstvu glede na letnik študija, vrsto študija in predhodno izobrazbo študentov. Izredni študenti, študenti višjih letnikov in študenti s srednješolsko predizobrazbo zdravstvene smeri izražajo večjo potrebo po tutorstvu. Razprava. Študenti zdravstvene nege na Visoki šoli za zdravstveno nego Jesenice potrebujejo podporni sistem v obliki tutorstva. Obstoječi tutorski model na Visoki šoli za zdravstveno nego Jesenice je treba nadgraditi na področju predmetnega tutorstva in ga še bolj približati študentom zdravstvene nege. Podporni sistem, ki ga ima oblikovanega Visoka šola za zdravstveno nego Jesenice, bi veljalo uporabiti kot primer dobre prakse. Background. Students can´t defeat challenges several times alone, that study of Nursing care is bringing them. Problems of students are also reflected in low passable in higher year. Experiences from foreign countries showed usability of different tutoring models for reduction students problems and raising of passable between years. On College of Nursing in Jesenice was forming tutoring model. We are interested on it if it is suitable for those, which is assigned it. We would develop tutoring model based on research later, that model will offer students help at personal and career development. Methods. In quantitative research was included occasional sample of 164 students on College of Nursing Jesenice. We gained data with questionnaire within month of June, 2010 and made statistic analysis with statistical program SPSS 15.0. Results. Students all forms of tutoring evaluated as help of defeating problems, specially form of subjects tutoring. They said, they don´t want to become a student tutor. Students also needed individual shape of tutoring on problems concerning learning and clinical practice. We proved statistically important difference within need for tutoring considering class of study, kind of study and preliminarily education of students. Part time students, students of higher classes and students with preliminarily education of health direction express larger need round tutoring. Discussion. Students on College of Nursing in Jesenice need support system within shape of tutoring. Existed model of tutoring on College of Nursing in Jesenice must be upgraded on form of subjects tutoring. Model of tutoring must be drawn near to students of Nursing care to be more usefully for them. Support system for students, which it has formed in College of Nursing Jesenice shall be used like case of good practice.
