Zato so vplivi ustreznih delovnih pogojev, nagrajevanja, napredovanja, možnosti poklicnega razvoja, možnosti soodločanja pri upravljanju in drugih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na delovno zadovoljstvo posameznika. Vsem stresnim situacijam se ne moremo izogniti, stres pa ni vedno škodljiv. Ščepec stresa ne škoduje, ampak lahko življenje začini. V času hitrega napredka tako v širšem družbenem kot gospodarskem prostoru samo vlaganje v tehnologijo za uspešnost gospodarskih družb ni zadostno. Za napredek, rast in konkurenčnost so neprecenljivi ustrezno usposobljeni zaposleni, ki s svojo energijo, znanjem in idejami pomenijo največji kapital, s katerim podjetje razpolaga. K učinkovitosti in kreativnosti zaposlenih pa v veliki meri prispeva ustrezna motivacija. Zadovoljni in visoko motivirani ljudje ustvarjajo novo vrednost in prinašajo konkurenčno prednost trgu. Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti pomen stresa, ki se odraža na celotnem organizmu. Povzroči lahko čustvene, fizične in duševne težave. S stresom pa so povezani tudi nezdravi vedenjski vzorci in navade, kot so alkoholizem, kajenje, prekomerno uživanje hrane, itd. Stresni odziv pa ni nekaj neozdravljivega. Ko odkrijemo vzrok stresa, ga lahko sami odpravimo. Pomembno je, da smo samozavestni, da znamo upravljati s časom in racionalno razmišljati, da ustvarjamo boljše medčloveške odnose ter da skrbimo zase. Working place with no visible stress situation is a key element for organization to become successful, creative and productive. That is why influence of adequate working conditions, remuneration policy, promotions, options for career development, being able to take part in decision-making and other factors that influence working satisfaction of individual are of great importance. We cannot always avoid all stress situations however stress is not only negative. A little bit of stress is not harmful but can make life spicy. During period of big progress in wider social and economic environment it is not enough for companies to merely invest in technology and be successful. For progress, growth and competitiveness skilled employees are essential. With their energy, knowledge and ideas they are the greatest capital a company has. Proper motivation is crucial for employees to be effective and creative. Satisfied and highly motivated people make new value and bring competitive advantage to the market. Goal of diploma is to present the importance of stress that influences whole organism. It can cause emotional, physical and mental problems. Unhealthy behavioral patterns and habits such as alcoholism, smoking and too much food also accompany stress. Response to stress is not something that cannot be healed. When reason behind stress is located it can be abolished. It is important that we are self-confident, that we know how to manage time and think rationally, that we establish better relations among people and that we care for ourselves.
