Summary: | The breeding population of Red-breasted Goose Branta ruficollis is found in Siberian tundra, mainly restricted within the Taymyr peninsula. It is highly migratory and winters mostly around the Black Sea (particularly in Bulgaria and Romania) and to a lesser extent around the Caspian, with some birds reaching SE Europe (Greece and Turkey).
