"Es evidente que la ciudad de Bogotá se va expandiendo cada vez más en dirección a los cerros, hacia esos bordes de la ciudad donde todavía hay naturaleza y la falta de control ha hecho que crezca desmesuradamente la ciudad. Esta ciudad informal se ha vuelto realidad y se debe enfrentar de manera específica a cada lugar tratando de salvar la estructura ecológica principal y el derecho a la ciudad de las personas que allí habitan. Por lo tanto, este análisis y proyecto buscan resolver de una forma no invasiva a lo existente las necesidades del lugar hacia las personas y hacia la naturaleza. Generando un borde de espacio público con una estructura ligera y tectónica que permita que las viviendas generen una doble fachada hacia la quebrada y haya actividad y conexión entre los habitantes y la naturaleza de una manera no invasiva."--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado. This informal city has become reality and must be addressed in a specific way to each place trying to save the main ecological structure and the right to the city of the people who live there. Therefore, this analysis and project seek to resolve in a non-invasive way what exists, the needs of the place towards people and towards nature.
