Peripheral blood samples from Phalacrocorax bransfieldensis (7 males), Larus dominicanus (4 males- 5 females) and from Chionis alba (6 males-5females) were taken during the Antarctic expeditions of ‘97-‘98 and ‘98-‘99 summers in the Jubany Station and Orkney Station respectively.
