| Summary: | [ES]En este trabajo se presenta una revisión del papel del conejo como especie clave en algunos ecosistemas mediterráneos de la Península Ibérica. Por un lado, el conejo constituye una presa importante para más de 40 depredadores, entre los que destacan el lince ibérico (Lynxpardinus) y el águila imperial ibérica (Aquí/a adalberti). Por otro lado, los cagarruteros de conejo, alteran la composición de especies vegetales y cambian la composición del suelo. Para ello, con diferentes métodos de censo, determinaremos la abundancia que existe para un ecosistema y para otro. Con dichos resultados, estudiaremos cuales son las necesidades más importantes para la supervivencia del conejo de monte. [EN]This review addresses the role of European rabbits (Oryctolaguscuniculus) as a multifunctional keystone species in the lberian Peninsula. Rabbits serve as prey far> 40 predators, treats including the lberian lynx (Lynx pardinus) and the Spanish imperial eagle (Aqui/aadalberti). Moreover, theirs burrows contributing to plant species diversity and change the soil composition. To do this, with different census methods, we will determine the abundance that exists far an ecosystem to another. With these results, we will study what the most important needs far the survival of wild rabbit.
