Zur Soziologie und Ökologie von Eleogiton fluitans (L.) Link an der Ostgrenze des Verbreitungsareals in Mitteleuropa

Es wird über neue Vorkommen von Eleogiton fluitans an der Ostgrenze des Verbreitungsareals in Mitteleuropa an nährstoffarmen Diluvialstandorten berichtet. Am Beispiel von 19 soziologischen Aufnahmen wird die floristisch-soziologische Struktur beschrieben. Die Ausbildungen der im Wasser flutenden Vegetation gehören zum Isolepidetum fluitantis Allorge 1922. Die Standortverhältnisse, insbesondere die hydrochemische Beschaffenheit, werden besprochen und mit den Verhältnissen an den Eleogiton-reichen Standorten W-Europas verglichen. Die Siedlungsgewässer Mitteleuropas unterscheiden sich in zahlreichen ökologischen Kenngrößen wesentlich von denen West-Europas. Eleogiton fluitans besiedelt an der Arealgrenze saure, nährstoffarme, oligohumose, elektrolytreiche Calciumsulfat-Gewässer, arm an gebundener Kohlensäure und an Braunstoffen, aber reich an freier Kohlensäure (CO2) und an Sulfat mit einer Gesamthärte im "mittelharten" bis "harten" Bereich. New secondary stands of Eleogiton fluitans on low-nutrient diluvial ground are reported near their eastern distributional border in Central Europe. The structure of the vegetation is illustrated based on 19 phytosociological records. This floating vegetation belongs to the community Isolepidetum fluitantis Allorge 1922. The site conditions, especially the hydrochemical composition, are discussed and compared with the situation in the Eleogiton stands of western Europe. The waters in Central Europe differ in some ecological respects from those of western Europe. Eleogiton fluitans indicates acidic, oligo-mesotrophic, oligohumic waters of the calcium-sulphate type, poor in carbonate and soluble organic matter, but rich in free carbonic acid (C02) and rich in electrolytes and sulphate, causing a total water hardness in the range from "middle hard" to "hard".
