Tema ovog diplomskog rada je problematika s kojom se susreću konzervatori-restauratori prilikom donošenja odluka. Prilikom odabira plana rada, tj. prije početka konzervatorsko-restauratorskih radova restauratori nailaze na razna saznanja o predmetu. Naravno prije bilo kakvih intervencija potrebno je napraviti sve dostupne analize i istraživanja da bi se odabrao pristup koji je najpovoljniji za određeni predmet, međutim nikad nije moguće savršeno predvidjeti kako će teći sami zahvati pa do promjena dolazi i tijekom radova. Mnogo je faktora koje je potrebno uzeti u obzir prilikom odabira zahvata i svaki predmet ima svoju specifičnu problematiku. S obzirom na to unutar smjernica konzervatorsko-restauratorske struke često postoji više mogućih ispravnih odabira konzervatora-restauratora. U ovom će radu biti opisana moguća rješenja za određenu problematiku u fazama konzervatorsko-restauratorskih radova na predmetu Bambino. The topic of this thesis is the problem faced by conservators-restorers when making decisions about the work process and interventions on artifacts. During the selection of the work plan, i.e., before the start of the conservation-restoration works, conservators come across various information about the object. Of course, before any interventions, it is necessary to do all available analyzes and research in order to choose the most favorable approach for a specific subject, however, it is never possible to perfectly predict how the procedures themselves will proceed, so changes also occur during the works. There are many factors that need to be considered when choosing a procedure, and each subject has its own specific issues. Considering that there are often several possible solutions within the guidelines of the conservation-restoration profession, it is not uncommon for the final decision to come down to the tendency of the conservator-restorer himself.
